Top 14 Rugby Match: Biarritz vs Toulouse

We went to see this match and it was great fun. We even took a picture with Philippe Saint-André, the French national team head-coach, who was queing behind us to get a sandwich...

The Sea Museum in Biarritz and the Virgin Mary Rock

Biarritz is quite an impressive city, with beautiful beaches but the strong waves of the ocean. The Aquarium is well-worth a visit too...

The Abbadia Castle in Hendaye...

This amazing Castle was built and owned by an astronomer who enjoyed the secluded location to look at the skies with his telescope to map the position of stars at the end of the 19th Century... Too bad we could not take pictures inside...

Today we went to the village of Espelettes, famous for its Chili, and then to a Bodega in Bayonne to eat tapas and than had our first glimpse from Biarritz under the rain...

A trip to Spain

It's quite funny... We went to Spain today (San Sebastian) by train. William chose his T-shirt himself and picked the Spanish football shirt (it's the only day he picked that shirt). Kids can have great intuition sometimes... We were very impressed by...

Fishing in the evening in Ciboure

In the evening, We went back to the Saint-Jean de Luz Bay for a boat trip to try and catch "Chipirons" (small calamars). Unfortunately, the consitions (wind...) were not good to catch them but we had great fun anyway...

The animals at the new campsite...

Today we arrived in Bidart for our second week of holiday in a new campsite. There are many animals which is good for the kids. By the way, this campsite seemed to be very popular with british people.
