A day at the Tour de France

Today was the final stage of the tour de France, a time-trial around Grenoble. The riders came very close to our house, about one km. We walk down to the course in the morning to see the funny "Caravane publicitaire". They throw many things at the spectators: Sweets, jerseys, toys, newspapers. This makes the kids very excited...

Our friends Mathieu and Marc were also here, so was Laura, Charlotte's Mum. Charlotte and William had a lot of fun!

In the evening, we went back to see the strong riders in contention for the final win the day after on the Champs Elysees in Paris. I will post more pictures (with the riders) later. William was so tired that he slept all the way through when the best riders were passing by.

In the end, Cadel Evans made a strong impression and won the Tour.
